Terms & Conditions for Dog Training Services

1. Booking & Payment

  • All training sessions must be booked in advance.

  • Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.

  • Package fees are payable in full before the first session. No partial payments or per-session payments are accepted.

2. Package Validity

  • 5-session packages must be completed within 10 weeks of the first session.

  • 10-session packages must be completed within 15 weeks of the first session.

  • This ensures consistency and progress in your dog's training.

  • If you require a temporary pause (e.g. due to travel or illness), you may request to freeze your package. This must be arranged in advance and is approved at the trainer’s discretion.

3. Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • Sessions may be rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours' notice.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be counted as used.

  • Frequent last-minute cancellations may result in loss of priority scheduling.

4. Refunds

  • All payments are non-refundable once training begins.

  • In exceptional cases (e.g. medical emergencies), a partial refund or credit may be considered at the trainer’s discretion.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients are expected to follow safety instructions and training exercises as discussed during sessions.

  • Dogs must be leashed and under control unless otherwise directed.

  • Positive reinforcement methods will be used at all times; aversive tools or methods (e.g. prong collars, e-collars, leash pops) are not permitted during training.

6. Behavioural Support

  • Behavioural issues require consistency and time. Progress depends on management, training, and client participation between sessions.

  • Results are not guaranteed, as each dog and situation is unique.

7. Group Classes (if applicable)

  • Dogs must remain on lead and at a safe distance from others unless specified.

  • Reactive or aggressive dogs may not be suited for group classes. If concerns arise, the trainer may recommend transitioning to 1:1 sessions.

8. Media & Social Sharing

  • Training sessions may occasionally be photographed or filmed for educational or marketing purposes. Please inform the trainer in writing if you do not consent to your dog being featured.
